MALIAM is focused on the future of human flourishing and invests in both VC funds and companies. On the fund side, we look for high ownership operator-led specialist funds. For directs, we focus on Series A or above companies operating in spaces with few competitors.
Esther is the Managing Director at MALIAM, a new multi-generational family office. Uniquely, she is one of the only Latinas to lead a US-centric family office.Previously, Esther led VC fund investing for the Kapor family office whose portfolio spanned ~40 years. Prior to this, she focused on direct investing and portfolio support for early stage ventures across fintech, healthcare, and edtech. Esther started her career at Arnold Ventures and holds a degree in Cognitive Neuroscience.
